The Chicago Sessions (Marije Meerman, VPRO 2009)

This video is amazing in many ways but definitely get a chance to watch 35 minutes in, for the discussion on happiness.

Dasha Polzik makes an amazing philosophical point emphasized by the great Philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

She mentions, inspired by Rousseau's work, that happiness is the relationship in the gap between what you want and what you're able to get.

Bravo mademoiselle, for your insight, and may we look back on the great thinkers in history, remembering the jewels of knowledge they uncovered that we staunchly ignore.
